Cold Storage Series

Energy efficient fluorescent lighting solutions are now available for cold storage facilities. SpecLight's superior design capabilities and deep understanding of fluorescent lamp and ballast technology has combined to create a new series of fluorescent luminaires that perform in temperatures to -20°F/-29°C.

  • Fluorescent T5HO and T8 luminaires offer 40%-50% energy savings over 400-watt metal halide systems with nearly twice the lamp life.
  • In addition to the lighting system energy savings, fluorescent systems reduce heat load contribution inside the refrigerated space.
  • Luminaires are individually tested at each design temperature for predictable light level output performance.
  • Housing and door are double gasketed to contain lamp heat energy for maximum lumen output at low temperatures.
  • Housings are powder coated after fabrication as a standand feature to seal all exposed steel parts for corrosion protection.
